A quaint and very welcoming pub. The stew and pie are excellent.

I had a great Guiness for breakfast , and the woman on the counter made the experience much better and she let me pour my own drink , recommending everyone to come here

Had a lovely lunch there the other day , very friendly staff and lovely food with large portions

I've visited a few times this last year. Always a good atmosphere, good banter, we only had drinks, so I can't comment on the food. Toilets were clean and well kept. Staff are always friendly and quick service. Just ditch the mouthful of gum a male staff member continued to chew on. Not a good look🤨. Its nice to see, sadly deceased staff members are still remembered and acknowledged. And Con Houlihan will never be forgotten.

The Boars head is a fabulous place for a pint and a bite to eat great atmosphere and a great spot to talk about all things GAA. Hugh and family run a great pub definitely worth popping in for a drink lovely seat right at the window to watch the world go by.
